25 Venoms is about deadly scorpions. It details general facts about scorpions, focusing on the kind of aspects that would fit well into a heavy metal song, sung mostly from a lethal scorpion's perspective! At the time of writing, 25 species of scorpion are thought to have stings that are dangerous to human beings. 4 of the deadliest are mentioned: the Emperor (the biggest scorpion), the Fat Tail (whose Latin name translates as 'man killer'), the Arizona Bark (perhaps the deadliest scorpion in America), and the Death Stalker (perhaps the deadliest scorpion in the world).

Musically, this is one of the most "progressive" (progressing through different sections) tracks on the album. It also includes one of only 2 uses of the acoustic guitar (the other being "Panama Papers"). The consistent use of the chromatic scale and chromatic notes underscores the movement of a scorpion.
